Launch of new Suzuki Swace

Suzuki has announced the launch of the new Swace hybrid estate car which is the second vehicle to be supplied under a collaborative business agreement between Suzuki and the Toyota Motor Corporation.

The Swace has been designed with dynamic and athletic styling, a low centre of gravity, a wide stance and a large honeycomb-patterned front grille.  The interior offers a feeling of open and comfortable space with generous luggage capacity to suit a variety of different lifestyles and recreational needs.  The large 596 litre luggage compartment can be expanded further into a fully flat space by using the remote folding lever to fold down the second-row seats.

Fitted with a sophisticated hybrid system combining a powerful electric motor and a 1.8 litre petrol engine the Swace provides exhilarating acceleration while still maintaining low fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.  In EV drive mode the vehicle can be driven for short distances using the electric motor only which is ideal for early morning starts in residential areas or in garages and indoor car parks.

The Swace is available in 7 different colours including an eye-catching Dark Blue and Oxide Bronze.  Inside the cabin an 8" multi-media system incorporates Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  A wireless charging pad is also available on the front console to charge smartphones.

Fully equipped with advanced safety features the Swace offers confidence and peace of mind for both the driver and passengers on every journey.  Features include Parking Assist, Pre-collision Brake Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, Rear Crossing Traffic Alert and eCall which calls emergency services with a precise location if the vehicle is involved in an accident.
