Apprentice Service Receptionist (Alnwick) - Monday to Friday.  No weekend work.

We have a vacancy for an Apprentice Service Receptionist at our Alnwick MG and Suzuki car dealership. With responsibility for assisting our Service Advisors in the preparation of job sheets, service plan quotations, courtesy car handovers and general departmental administration and customer care duties this is a busy role which will include telephone cover, service booking and greeting customers at our Service Reception desk. In addition to practical work experience and training, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a 12-month Suzuki Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship course.

For this role we are looking for an articulate person with a warm and courteous manner who can empathise with our customers and project a positive image of our family business. A proactive, helpful attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team are important requirements along with accurate administration skills, strong attention to detail and an aptitude for learning how to use our computerised data management system.

Initially this Apprenticeship is for a minimum of 12 months and although a permanent position at Blackshaws can’t be guaranteed it is hoped that an opening will be found within the business once the Apprenticeship has been completed.
