It is the responsibility of everyone who uses a vehicle on the road to make sure it is kept in a roadworthy condition. Once a vehicle is 3 years old you are required by law to have an MOT test to make sure your vehicle is properly maintained and that it meets minimum safety and environmental standards.

To have your vehicle tested it must be taken to an authorised MOT test station such as Blackshaws.

Please note that an MOT test can be taken up to 30 days before your vehicle is due to be tested and covers a range of components and tests including exhaust emissions, fuel system, brakes, lights, tyres, wheels, steering & suspension, doors, seat belts, mirrors, wipers and washers.
