Ross Straughan was excellent in the sales department, very efficient, not pushy but very knowledgeable about Suzuki products. He kept me informed throughout the two transactions the I needed and the car was spotless and serviced/MOT'd on collection. Cannot fault the service I was given. As for the 71 plate Suzuki Swift that was supplied: Good points - good driving position, clear open front windscreen with excellent vision, smooth gear box, enough engine power for my needs, easily accessible controls and switches. Very accessible heating controls. Bad points: Although better than the 'AllGrip' which I had temporarily before, it still has a very hard ride and would be better with a softer suspension. Also Privacy glass on rear windscreen should be an option, not standard as it is too dark in gloomy conditions.

Was pleased with the service. I felt I got good advice and the sales team were knowledgable and as I was looking specifically for a towing vehicle they understood my requirements. Everything was explained clearly and there was no pressure. Also and importantly as a women buying a car.. I was spoken to not my partner you will not believe how often that still happens!

So far very happy with the car, I trade in an L200 which I loved but I would recommend anyone interested in a pick up looks at the KGM it is quiet, smooth, powerful and feels very refined to drive. I haven’t towed with it yet as I have to do 600 miles as recommended in the handbook so hoping it performs as well with the weight on the back. But overall you don’t feel like you are in a pick up but in a smart suv

We were left to reflect on the experience and we changed the payment from a deposit and mothly payments to an outright purchase, quite late on too. There were no problems. Blackshaws found me an MG HS Phev from their staff cars that exactly fitted my requirements. A test drive was arranged and we liked the car. Trading in my old Outlander was easy and the whole process flowed smoothly. I felt my loyalty to Blackshaws was fully rewarded.

Excellent safety equipment, spacious and comfortable on long journeys. I would prefer actual dials and switches to control the heating, ventilation and air con. On cold mornings, the car won't let me drive on electricity even on short journeys, so I am fighting against its systems.

I have used Blackshaws for a number of years now to service and supply accessories for L200. They have always been fair and attentive so it seemed natural to go to them when looking to purchase a new vehicle. Again the sales team and service team have done Blackshaws at Morpeth proud. Two minor niggles with car were happily and quickly resolved.

Not initially a vehicle I would have sought to buy but the interior specification and drive comfort for the price have converted me. More than capable of towing a large caravan and carrying a full load.

The service was exceptional, I wouldn’t buy a car from any other garage. This is the 3rd car I have had from Blackshaws Alnwick, They made it possible for me to get a new car, first time I’ve owned a new car, I’m over the moon!

Best car buying experience.

The best two car buying experiences I’ve had were ten years apart and were both at Blackshaws Alnwick. Bought cars from various garages over the years but none come close to Blackshaws for friendly polite service. On this occasion I dealt with Ross and have to say he answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable on the full range of Suzuki models. Hopefully the Vitara I bought will last a few years but will be back when the time comes to replace it.

A Good Company to do business with.

Having looked at various vehicles on their web site we arranged a visit and dealt with a great sales manager (Andrew). Made a good offer on our vehicle as part exchange and arranged to pick up new vehicle in a couple of days. On collection day Andrew went through every query we had about new controls and the vehicle was nearly full of fuel. Also arranged a two year service plan for a very reasonable price. All in all a very good company to deal with. Definitely recommend them.

The staff at Blackshaws are extremely helpful with all your queries and they will answer all your questions or find the answers if they don't have them. Most of all, they are not in any way using pressure sales tactics which many other garages do.

Having driven petrol cars for the last 40 years, I was a little sceptical about going fully electric. I am now a total convert and would not go back to driving petrol cars. This is a great car to drive, much cheaper to run and obviously more environmentally friendly. Take a test drive in one, you'll be as surprised as I was.

I've never bought from blackshaws in the past but following great feedback from family and friends I gave it a try. I can't fault it. From start to finish MJ was fantastic. He talked me through my options and what my car was worth part ex etc. I bought a car and even the aftercare was great. I had a private plate on my previous car which he sorted out with the dvla to transfer, all documents were online so no sitting signing paperwork I could do it in my own time. I highly recommend blackshaws and will certainly buy from them again. A lady rang me a week after I bought the car and asked how I was finding it, anything they could of done different etc. She was love (sorry I forgot her name)
