Vehicle Technician (Alnwick)

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Technician to work in our Alnwick Workshop. With responsibility for carrying out repairs and servicing of motor vehicles plus MOT testing this is a busy, challenging role. The successful applicant will be required to maintain an up to date knowledge of vehicle service, repair and warranty policies and must be able to use computerised vehicle diagnostic equipment and complete job cards/ vehicle repair paperwork in an accurate, efficient manner. Accredited qualifications in vehicle repair and maintenance to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 are essential. Knowledge of Nissan and/or Suzuki vehicle maintenance and experience in a franchised dealer workshop would be an advantage but are not requirements. Of more importance is your technical and practical knowledge of general vehicle maintenance and willingness to undertake further manufacturer training. You will also need to be able to work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail plus strong team working skills.
